Theory of Science and Methodology of Research
The introductory sub-course discusses the key issues within the theory of science and how they are associated with approaches to knowledge and methods of research within the humanities. Emphasis is on a comparison of the natural sciences and the humanities and the social sciences. The second sub-course discusses theories on and models of analysis for visual phenomena and experiences. The course consists of two sub-courses:
1. The Theory of Science, 5 credits,
2. Visual Theory and Method, 10 credits.
