Guidelines for abstract submission

Call for abstracts
The organizers and referees welcome the submission of abstracts for Panel or Individual papers to The XVIIth Biennial Conference of the European Association for Chinese Studies: 'China Centre Stage'.

Notification of acceptance: April, 2008
Abstracts will be selected by the referees.

Publication
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Abstracts, provided to all delegates attending the Congress upon registration in Lund.

Submission guidelines

  • Abstracts should be submitted electronically no later than March 1, 2008.
  • Abstracts cannot be submitted by fax, hard copy or e-mail
  • Abstracts should be submitted electronically no later than March1, 2008. Click here to enter the on-line abstract form (new window) 
  • Acknowledgement of receipt of the submission will be sent to the stated e-mail address. If you do not receive the confirmatory e-mail within 24 hours, please contact us at; eacs2008abstract@congrex.com 
  • Notification on acceptance of the abstracts will be e-mailed in April, 2008.
  • The presenting author will receive all correspondence concerning the abstract and is responsible for informing the other authors of the status of the abstract.
  • Abstracts must be written in English, no Chinese characters are allowed.
  • Maximum 300 words / 2000 characters (including spaces and excluding title and contact information on authors).
  • It is the author’s responsibility to submit a correct abstract; any errors in spelling, grammar, or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author, if accepted.
  • Presenters of abstracts must pay the registration fee to participate in the conference
  • The presenting author has access to an On-line Personal Page. The author can read and print the abstract and make changes until submission deadline. A unique user id and password for access will be included in the e-mail sent upon submission.
