Winter meeting 2009
was held in January 13th at IDEON, Lund. 7 Geneco students gave oral presentations of their graduate work. Invited speakers Jason Stajich, Berkely, USA and Roger Butlin, Sheffield, UK talked about "Comparative genomics and evolution of fungi" and "Population genomics and speciation" respectively.
A research school in Nanosciences in Lund, visited and talked about their activities and organisation.
The meeting continued in the evening downtown, with discussions and beer at Glorias, followed by dinner at Gourmet Grön.
