Geneco Winter Meeting at Grand Hotel, Lund January 12-14 2010
Director of Geneco, Prof. Karin Rengefors welcomes everybody to the meeting.
Vice rector at LU, Eva Åkesson talks about the university's view on innovation andutilization aspects on research.
Marika Stenberg, PhD in Limnology, talks about her company EKOLL AB, which do monitoring tasks of mailnly amphibians for varoius customers.
Björn Canbäck, PhD in Biology, do Bioinformatics for universities and private companies in his own company.
Discussions on utilization of research in the "supervisor-group". Helena Ljusberg from LU-Innovation and Karin Simu, project leader at Innovation Center at Linnéuniversitetet in Kalmar give support. In the middle, Helena Westerdahl, supervisor and delegate in the Geneco steering commitee.
The first day of the meeting ended with dinner at Kulturkrogen. Anders Tunlid, Lund, Ashfaq Ali, Lund and Kerstin Johannesson from Tjärnö, enjoyed the continuing discussions.
