Social Sciences: Social Welfare in a Global Context, 15.0 hp
The course is given in a blended mode and can hereby be taken both on campus in Lund and online. The course focuses on the social consequences of globalisation when it comes to the provision of social welfare, both in the formation of social policies and the actions of the welfare state and international actors, and in the strategies of families and individuals. During the course students work methodically, individually and in groups, formulating researchable questions about social welfare issues in a global perspective, finding answers to them as well as analysing and presenting them.
