A Master's programme (also called a Master's Degree) is a one or two year programme of postgraduate study. Study is based around courses and research. Lund has over 70 Master's programmes and attracts the largest number of international students of any university in Sweden.

Many of our courses are for exchange students. The term 'Exchange' means there is a formal agreement, to exchange students, between your home university and Lund University.

We have a large number of post graduate researchers and Ph.D. students. Many of our faculties have world leading expertise in their particular field of research. There is a continual recruitment of new, and international, researchers and Ph.D. (doctoral) students.

Lund offers companies, organisations and authorities education for the development of their staff and businesses. Education is offered by Lund University Education, a private company wholly owned by the university. Courses range from week long short courses to year long Master's degrees in management, and other areas.
