Physical bounds on antennas of arbitrary shape
Publikation/Tidskrift/Serie: [Host publication title missing]
Recently developed physical bounds relate antenna performance to the polarizability of the antenna structure. Although, the polarizability can be determined numerically for arbitrary objects, it is advantageous to have simple closed form expressions for canonical geometries. Here, rational approximations are presented for the polarizability of cylinders and planar rectangles.
