Values about management in client related and not client related jobs: a comparison between a ward in the geriatric care and in industrial company.
Författare
Summary, in English
Three main differences were found:
1. The descriptions of how stress could be reduced. In the geriatric care the employees suggested that they and their co-workers change their behaviour and attitudes towards each other; in the industrial company the employees had more radical suggestions, namely changes in the organisation.
2. Some employees in the geriatric care say that they like their job, but in the industrial company nobody say that. In the geriatric care there are also descriptions of how the employees get feedback. No one talks about feedback in the industrial company.
3. In the geriatric care the employees find the payment system unfair because the salary is that low that the employees do not feel appreciated. In the industrial company the employees say that the payment system is unfair because it does not encourage the employees to do efforts for the enterprise.
