In English First edition of a spiritual treatise for nuns, written in Denmark in the second half of the 12th century. The introduction treats questions of time and place of composition, authorship, contents and style. The Latin text of the treatise is accompanied by a parallel Swedish translation by Bengt Ellenberger.
