Programme

The Master of Disaster Management gives each participant the ability to customise their studies in alignment with his/her interests and profession. The Master of Disaster Management can be taken as a one-year full- time programme or in modules over three years. It is also possible to enrol for single modules and short courses.

The master's programme is a research-based post-graduate programme. The full programme consists of three modules:

• Core module with four mandatory courses (20 ECTS);

• Advanced module with one mandatory and three elective short courses. (20 ECTS);

• Thesis module (20 ECTS), which could be expanded with an optional internship depending on the student’s prior working experience and interests.
