International Collaboration

There is a very strong international aspect to both the teaching and research conducted at Lund. The University has the most international students of any university in Sweden and has exchange agreements with over 600 universities from around the world. Research has a strong international element with many international researchers choosing to work, and study, at Lund.

Lund is a member of Universitas 21, an international network of 16 other leading research intensive universities from around the world. The network facillitates collaboration and research.

Lund is a member of the League of European Research Universities (LERU),  an association of research intensive universities. LERU promotes European research.

Lund is a member of the Öresund University, a network of 12 universities in Southern Sweden. Opportunities exist for student exchange between network members.
