Rationality put in question. Social science, ethics and sustainability in the context of market democracy

This project takes aims at a book publishing. Topics of interest are the connections between the social sciences and the surrounding market democracy. Describing some fundamental axioms concerning the social science, the project aims to relate them with the surrounding context—the dominant market economy and its consequences. These latter are mainly described as negative environmental sustainability and growing socioeconomic differences in the society. For the science of psychology, the effects are visible as problematic principles concerning planned organizational development, with undesired consequences for worker health and overall organizational functioning from a humanistic point of view.
