The transfer of current e-mail accounts begins on Monday the 23rd of November 2009
The transfer of current e-mail accounts from IPlanet to Google Apps will begin on Monday the 23rd of November.
- The transfer will take 3 to 4 weeks in total.
- Before your account is transferred you will receive an email notification.
Login to your new account from a new address until all accounts have been transferred.

You can only access the old system for 1 month after transfer.
When all accounts have been transferred the address webmail.student.lu.se will be redirected towards the new e-mail. You will able to access the old e-mail for one month after the transfer is completed in order for you to move the e-mails you want to keep to the new e-mail. You will access the old e-mail at this address webmail-old.student.lu.se
Google Apps - New system
The new e-mail system is Google Apps, which replaces IPlanet, with e-mail, calendar, chat and a number of other tools to enable cooperation between you and your fellow students.
You Need To Move Inbox Contents Yourself
We can’t transfer the contents in your old account to the new one. You have to move the e-mails and e-mail addresses yourself. The old e-mail will be accessible from webmail-old.student.lu.se one month after all accounts have been transferred.
