My research is currently focused on developing digital image restoration and enhancement techniques inspired by animal vision. More specifically, I am trying to find ways to improve the visibility in digital video sequences obtained under very dark conditions. This work is inspired by the principles found in the visual systems of nocturnal animals.
I currently hold a post-doc position at the Department of Cell and
Organism Biology at Lund University, but previously did my PhD studies
in the Mathematical Imaging Group at Department of Mathematics, were my
research dealt with robot vision, image restoration and visual illusions.
