Accounting and Management Control

Students following this programme will obtain advanced knowledge and understanding of the main theoretical and applied concepts in financial accounting, management accounting and management control as well as in auditing at an advanced level. When applying to this programme you elect either the Management Control Track or the Auditing Track.

Economic Demography

Economic and social changes related to demographic chang­es are global issues and this programme provides training in the theories, methods and skills required to understand demographic dynamics. It focuses on the processes underlying population change, the contexts in which these processes originate and evolve and the consequences of such processes. Special interest is also given to studies on the family and the labour market, migration patterns and health and mortality issues.

Economic Growth, Innovation and Spatial Dynamics

Economic growth, innovation and entrepreneurship are ar­eas of intense research in a number of countries and our fac­ulty represents this state-of-the-art international research. This programme combines the three areas, meeting a need in analytical and planning work for the ability to merge knowledge about economic modelling and the role of innovation and entrepreneurship with empirical evidence of economic change across time and space.

Economic History

Economic history is not only about the past, it is also a way to look at the present and the future in the context of accu­mulated experience. Core courses deal with population and living standards, institutions and economic growth, as well as the international economy and globalisation. Method­ological issues are addressed and you will acquire the ability to carry out investigations and analyses concerning changes in social and economic conditions under different circumstances.

Economics

European and International Tax Law

This programme offers a unique combination of specialist courses in both direct and indirect taxation with special focus on EU law, designed to meet the demands of the market for cutting-edge knowledge on multi-jurisdictional tax issues. The overall goal is to train students with the polycentric nature of sources of tax law applicable to global trade.

Finance

This programme builds on previous studies in finance and is directed to students with an undergraduate degree in business or economics. The programme extends students’ knowledge of all major areas of financial decision-making. It prepares students for future careers in the financial services sector, e.g. in com­mercial and investment banking, insurance firms and super­visory authorities, in corporate finance functions in financial and non-financial firms.

Masterprogram i Technology Management

Programmet integrerar ämnesområdena teknologi, ekonomi och management med fokus på strategi, produkt och processutveckling samt ledning på företagsnivå och projektnivå. Programmet är en avslutning för blivande civilingenjörer och blivande ekonomie magistrar som ger studenterna möjlighet att på ett integrerat sätt studera ledarskapsfrågor, projektledning och strategi, innovation och industriell marknadsföring i samarbete med varandra och industrin. Utbildningen är ett samarbete mellan Lunds Tekniska Högskola (LTH) och Ekonomihögskolan vid Lunds universitet.

Obs! Antagning till Technology Management kommer inte att ske inför 2014/2015. Inte heller inför 2015/2016 avser vi att starta programmet i sin nuvarande form.
