Welcome to the Archaeology of Time Travel!

On this site you can find information on the time travel project.

The purpose of this project is to find out how time travels are created and used to enhance our perception of past and future. People of today have great expectations on tools for experiencing other times, the past as well as the future, emotionally and sensory with the aid of different kinds of "transporters", such as novels, movies, open air museums, tourist attractions, role play, computer gaming and other Virtual reality and digital technique.

About 3D techniques and archaeology in Vetenskapsradion

About digitally reconstructed passage grave in Denmark, newspaper article

In spring 2010 members of the Time Travel project  worked together with Sagnlandet Lejre to reconstruct a passage grave with the aid of digital techniques. Read more in this Danish newspaper article:
