From atmosphere and climate to wood at the molecular level – research for sustainability at MAX IV
MAX IV invites to a webinar and Q&A during Sustainability Week. You will get to meet the researchers who use MAX IV, with a lecture from the ATMOS group at the University of Oulu, led by Assoc. Prof. Nønne Prisle. The group works with a focus on nanoparticle properties and functions in the atmosphere and for climate change. There will also be presentations from our experiment station teams and the opportunity to ask questions.
The webinar will be given at two different times. The first opportunity is aimed primarily at school students and the second at the general public, but everyone is of course welcome on both occasions.
- Tuesday 4 May, at 13.00 (focused at schools)
- Thursday 6 May, at 16.00 (focused at the general public)
Registration closes on May 3 at 11:59 p.m.
About MAX IV
MAX IV was inaugurated in 2016 and is Sweden's largest and most ambitious investment in research infrastructure. MAX IV is also one of the world's brightest light sources. The light produced on MAX IV is used by researchers around the world to investigate the properties of materials. This research contributes to the sustainable technology of the future.
