Webinar: Talking Culture amid Crises - what you need to know when the crises come
Crises most often have cultural components – no matter whether we are discussing challenges within organizations or countries.
In this section, we will discuss culture and crisis communication from different perspectives, namely intercultural crisis communication and multicultural crisis communication. We will also explore the cultural dimension of crisis communication in organizational, national, and international levels.
This session is a part of the popular course Crises Communication in Organisation and Societes who got over 400 applicants in summer 2020.
The course is held by researcher Hui Zhao at the department of Strategic Communication, Campus Helsingborg, Lunds Universitet. Hui Zhao has developed research interests in communication in general and strategic use of new media in particular. Her current research mainly focuses on social media and crisis communication. Hui Zhao also teaches about crisis communication and public relations.
