Tellus webinar about sexual harassment at Lund university
The report on the results is now finalised and will be presented at a webinar, which is intended for staff and students at Lund University.
The results reveal that more than one in four female students state that they have been subjected to victimisation, the figure for the male students is eleven per cent. This concerns everything from unwelcome innuendo to physical assault. The most common situation is that someone is subjected to such behaviour by another student, most often during student social activities.
Those who have been affected estimate their work capacity and general health lower than those who have not been affected.
How can the University work preventively? In connection with the presentation of the investigation’s results, the management will also talk about the University’s continuing work to prevent sexual harassment.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions via moderated chat.
Date: 28 September 13:00 in English for employees and students.
