Augustinerna i Dalby

In English In the Middle Ages, there was an Augustinian monastery in Dalby (Scania). The article gives an overview of what we know about it, concentrating in particular on the foundation of the community c. 1070, the medieval organization of the Augustinian "Order", and the mode of life of Augustinians. The article includes an artistic representation by Petter Lönegård of what the monastery and its church (the present-day parish church of Dalby) may have looked like c. 1300.
