Osäkerheter i variabler vid riskanalyser och brandteknisk dimensionering

Författare

Summary, in English

The aim of this report is to present some of the variable uncertainties associated with the dimensioning of fire protection in buildings and risk analysis in buildings (with respect to fire). A method for assessing the fire frequency in a building is presented along with examples of how the assessed fire frequency can be improved using fire data from a specific building. The probability of different fire severity for a number of occupancies is calculated using statistics from fires in Sweden during 1996. A literature survey concerning the reliability of fire protection systems is presented. In the last chapters an investigation of fire growth and occupant density in warehouses is presented.
