Risk- och skyddsfaktorer hos maskrosbarn : En kvalitativ studie om att växa upp med missbrukande föräldrar
Författare
Summary, in English
The purpose of this study is in part to gain a deeper understanding regarding what risks exists and what safety factors are available for children who grow up with parents who are addicted to alcohol. The study is based on six autobiographies, the authors of which grew up in Sweden during the 60’s and 70’s. In these autobiographies they relay their experiences growing up in a household with parents who had alcohol abuse disorder. In this study the material has been analysed using four different theories: the Dramaturgical Perspective , KASAM, resilience and finally The Child’s Different Roles. The analysis is built on two parts: safety factors, and risks. Some of the conclusions that emerged were that a person of close connection or another important adult is the most important safety factor followed by personal interests as well as an acceptance of ones upbringing. There were more risks than safety factors that emerged. Some of these risks could have been safety factors if the child could have handled the responsibility contained within the risk.
