Values among individuals having client-related jobs and organisations in client related sectors might differ from values in their counterparts in jobs and sectors that are not client-related. It is possible that jobs that include interactions with other people demand more developed moral thinking. This report is a description of differences that has been found in a comparison between a ward in the geriatric care and an industrial company. The studies were grounded on a phenomenological method. In answers were analysed with a phenomenological method.

Three main differences were found:

1. The descriptions of how stress could be reduced. In the geriatric care the employees suggested that they and their co-workers change their behaviour and attitudes towards each other; in the industrial company the employees had more radical suggestions, namely changes in the organisation.

2. Some employees in the geriatric care say that they like their job, but in the industrial company nobody say that. In the geriatric care there are also descriptions of how the employees get feedback. No one talks about feedback in the industrial company.

3. In the geriatric care the employees find the payment system unfair because the salary is that low that the employees do not feel appreciated. In the industrial company the employees say that the payment system is unfair because it does not encourage the employees to do efforts for the enterprise.
