What is LINXS Institute of advanced Neutron and X-ray Science?
Learn about how you can benefit from LINXS, and about LINXS’ work to promote research using X-rays and neutrons.
With Trevor Forsyth, Director of LINXS
About LINXS
Established in 2017, LINXS is an advanced study institute whose mission is to promote science and education focusing on the use of neutrons and X-rays. LINXS’ work is based around Themes, governed by a core group, with multiple working groups connected to it. The themes develop networks, research and activities in different fields of science relevant for one or more of the LINXS focus areas. A theme is a time-limited collaborative effort over about three years to enable a network of researchers to push the frontiers of research in a specific topic. Director Trevor Forsyth will talk about the next theme call, how to apply, and how themes work.

Mötesplats Rydberg - online scientific seminars
The Department of Physics continuously organises open seminars on current science where an invited researcher presents his or her ongoing research in physics or another field of science. The seminars are usually held on Tuesdays at 15.15-16.00 in the Rydberg lecture hall at the department. It´s also possible to participate online. The seminars are called Mötesplats Rydberg after the internationally renowned Lund physicist and mathematician Janne Rydberg (1852–1919).
